2025-2026 Musical Theatre Group Classes
Advanced Theatre Class
This class is designed for experienced stage performers who want to build upon their foundational acting and movement skills. In this weekly class, students will focus on character development, script work, and staging, both individually and with peers. There will also be a focus on developing professional skills, including workshops on audition techniques and resume building. At the culmination of the course, students will exhibit what they've learned through a final performance of monologues and scenes.

Musical Theatre Dance
Musical Theatre Dance provides young performers an opportunity to train in dance for the stage and learn famous musical theatre choreography. In this weekly class, students will learn fundamental steps and terminology. As well as improve their dance technique within the styles of legendary Broadway choreographer, including Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins. Using popular musical theatre hits, students will dance to show-stopping numbers and develop their showmanship and unique stage presence along the way.

Audition Intensive
Do you have an audition coming up that you want to prepare for? Do you know what material you need to work on? Do you have no idea what material to pick? AMS is holding a second session of our audition intensive class to help!
This course will teach the dos and don'ts of auditioning, along with how to choose a sing and monologue. Students will be coached through their choices and the class will culminate with a recorded performance that can be shared with family and friends.

Advanced Musical Theater
For all triple-threat performers! This class is designed for students wanting to further develop their acting, dancing, and singing skills for the stage. Our Advanced students will have the opportunity to stage their favorite Broadway songs and workshop these performances through activities and feedback.
At the culmination of the course, students will present what they’ve learned through a final performance of songs and monologues.
Grades 9-12

Intermediate Musical Theatre Class
Build your knowledge of theatre performance and have fund while doing it! A step up from our elementary class, our intermediate students will choose either two songs or a song and a monologue and will be coached through their choices.
This class will culminate with a recorded performance that can be shared with family and friends.
At the end of the class, the children will put on a short cabaret that will be performed and filmed.

In this class, kids will learn important skills that not only help them become little star performers but also help them learn real-world skills like:
- Learning collaboration and how to get along with fellow actors
- Build confidence and stage presence
- Improve reading skills and comprehension while having fun
- Play theatre games that improve social skills
At the end of the class, the children will put on a short cabaret that will be performed and filmed.
