The event will be held rain or shine sticking to CDC guidelines.

Sixteen years ago, because of a senior project, AMS began doing concerts as fundraisers. Over the past 15years, we have raised over $40,000 for various cancer charities such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Gilda’s Club, just to name a few. However, after performing for the past 15 years at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home on Southampton Road in Philadelphia, AMS decided to hold a yearly event that would honor our brave veterans. Our first year we raised over $8,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Since then, we have switched our fundraising to benefit PA Wounded Warriors Inc. and have been able to donate an additional $58,000 collecting $ 99,000 over the years.

Raffle prizes over the years have included baskets with gift cards and items from local business, an iPhone, and a grand prize of 2 nights at the Golden Plough Inn of Peddler’s Village. Sponsors are usually thanked on our t-shirts and programs. This year instead of t-shirts we will be featuring our donors on AMS’s Facebook, Instagram and have now made a special page on our website to honor them also. Items are being collected now and we hope to surpass previous years’ offerings!

100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, a non-profit organization whose mission is to “restore wounded warriors to good physical, mental, and emotional health”. The founders, Maj. Gen. Gerald Sajer and his wife, Helen, have been on the frontlines of aiding families since 2006. When their son, Lt. Col. Frank Sajer, came home alive from Iraq, Gerald and Helen were very thankful. But, they knew other soldiers and families who were not as lucky. They decided they needed to do something to help wounded warriors and their families. PA Wounded Warriors’ supports a full range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families. The unpaid staff at PA Wounded Warriors consists entirely of volunteers who donate their time, expertise, and support to Pennsylvania veterans. Through generous donations, they are able to help them with payments, including, but not limited to, mortgage/rent, educational. and medical expenses. They also help with temporary housing to prevent a veteran from becoming homeless.

Admittance is free and all servicemen with an ID will receive $15.00 in free raffle tickets!

We hope you will consider Donating to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors especially during these difficult times. Please see attached form for donation directions.
