Guitar and Bass Lessons

We're not a "by the books" guitar studio. Absolute Music School Guitar and Bass instructor, Andy Rodzwic, has been giving private lessons since 1992, finding the best ways to teach are usually outside of the box. As a self-described “gear hound” and “ethnomusicologist”, Andy is well-versed in a variety of playing styles. His teaching philosophy is to create custom learning plans that enable his students to achieve their goals on the guitar and bass. 

Andy's not just a children's instructor either, in fact, he enjoys his older students just as much as his younger ones. He's even been known to get into one-on-one battles and jam sessions, which makes perfect sense. Andy played the Jersey shore circuit with in the late 70s with the R&B funk masters, Dead in the Water. His band, Prisoner, was a popular opening act in the 1980s for Philly bands the A’s, Robert Hazard, and New Jersey’s Pretty Poison. It was also during this time that he met his wife Nancy.

Coupled with Absolute Music School's band rehearsal rooms, Andy can take soloists and groups from the clueless to world-class.
